last night i had a ridiculous arguement with someone very close to me.
about the PAP and Opposition Party.

am i even allowed to say anything on the net?

anyway.
i just feel that, no matter whos leading, and what laws are being implemented,
there are always going to be Cons.

you can find fault in everything, in this world.

and i dont see how bashing the gorvernment being behind a screen, is going to make a difference.

why do people get so angry, when they know theres nothing they can do about it.

call me naive. but i root for stability.
and when i look at Singapore, i feel safe.
seriously, no scary riots, no massive floods, no trembling earthquakes, no warped government (as far as im concerned).

you may say our futures' at stake, with our jobs being rationed out for the FTs.
all i can say is : theres always a choice for you to migrate out.
as for me,
im staying.
and working just a little harder.

so what if i cant take sweets on the train
and so what if i have to battle out my future with the FTs.

at least i know my children wont have to fight for education,
or starve,
or worry about droughts floods earthquakes volcanic eruptions.

after all,
world peace is not eliminating the bad,
because thats never gonna happen.
world peace is finding even grounds with the people around,
and with yourself. (and your mind)

why cant people just be happy and thankful at what they have.
